I'm so excited to send off these two Teen Quilts for Quilts For Kids!
especially because they put out a call for help for fabrics and quilts suitable for teenage boys!

What a great way to try out new techniques and let out some creative energy!

I received an email from a fabrications2B customer looking for the popcard cases and yoga slings..
where can they be bought?
so, sorry but not on this blogsite.

To purchase fabrications2B items , please visit:

thanks!

......and the last project:  rescuing a table from a emergency!!  The tall glass of ice water keeping a beautiful New Yorker cool during the heatwave is sweating on her nightstand!!!  This "mug rug" is just perfect!  Help is on the way!  (always reversable!)

The "teen boy" Quilts for Kids charity quilts are great! Finding that perfect fabric that doesn't look too elementary but also has some "zip" is challenging, but I think these first two will be a big hit!
What can happen in one weekend?  Three quilt tops and one custom mug rug!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The baby quilt is just a ton of fun!  A modern twist and not too baby-ish! A little more border and final quilting where I'll be able to play with stitching and patterns  - and ..... done!

The fabric I brought home from New York on Monday didn't stay on the shelf very long!  It's a baby quilt for a new little one coming next month!!  Almost done ... by the weekend for sure.
