Arizona Quilters Hall of Fame
Inductee 2017

What an emotional afternoon with family, friends and community when I was included in a genuinely talented and devoted group of quilters, the Arizona Quilters Hall of Fame, where I was inducted as part of the talented "Class of 2017". I had the genuine pleasure of sharing in this honor with fellow inductee and amazing young woman @dheyen Danny Heyen😘❤️ I am so thrilled to be a part of this group of artists and look forward to many years of sharing my passion for contemporary quilting and learning so much more from these wonderful quilters!

“Un-biased Nation”

January 2017
Original Design

Pieced and quilted  and embellished by Bonnie Bobman

This improvised piece represents America and the values of diversity, inclusion, and creativity in the face of adversity. The fabric comes from local shops across the country – some scrap fabric and some treasured prints. Representing the varying shades of this country’s people and the spectrum of opinions we hold dear, it symbolizes how our country is greatest when the pieces work together. It has flaws, but in it I see many communities sharing stories and learning from each other. Most importantly, like America, it remains a work in progress

Dimensions:  25” x 49”
